A message from the secretary of Russian Clay Group
It is my honour and pleasure to add my welcome to that of Organizing Committee of CMLM2009.
I take this opportunity to thank you all for coming and for your scientific contributions which made this Conference possible. We all are very pleased to say that CMLM2009 has the international status including its organization, participants and sponsors. Our deep appreciation to our foreign colleagues: David Bish, Daisy Barbosa Alves, Peter Komadel, Georgios D. Chryssikos, Tomas G. Weiszburg, Wulf Deepmaier and Lyudmila Wilson for their enthusiasm and help which lifted the whole level of the conference. We all are very pleased to say that CMLM2009 has the international status including its organization, participants and sponsors.
It is the pleasure to say that Russian Clay Group which re-started its activity 10 years ago after the Euroclay`1999 meeting in Krakow initiated the preparation of CMLM2009 and is one of the organizers. The idea came in Pushchino in 2006, and Moscow and St-Petersburg branchesof Russian Clay Group made their best. Thank you!
I would like to use this opportunity to thank Jan Srodon, ex-president of ECGA for his personal support we feel for all these years and this support helped us a lot to become a member of International “clay family”.
Also, I would like to say our thanks for all scientist from Russia and abroud who helpd to organize this conference in this difficult time.
I wish you all a productive conference. For many our guests this visit Russia is the first experience and hope you will enjoy your stay here, Russian nature, historical culture and hospitality.
