Influence of size effect on physical and crystallochemical properties of kaolinite
Correlations relationships between some physical properties of kaolinite and its dispersivity are established. The calculations have been made to use data from previouslypublished report(Novikov et al, 2008)inwhichhave been investigated the most significant in the technological relation fractions of alluvial kaolin fromZhuravliny Logdeposits in the Southern Urals. At qualitative level by a complex of methods it has been shown that with reduction in sizes of kaolinite particles the degree of crystal perfection are worsen (Novikov et al, 2008). In the table results thermal, x-ray and IR-analyses of the studied fractions kaolinite are presented.

The note: Тm0 C and f – accordingly temperature of peak and an index of the form of thermal effect, r – the thickness of the block of coherent dispersion, Ri – the relation of intensity of the valency OH – stretchaccording to IR- data
According to the cluster analysis , the data of the table accurately are divided on two groups: Тm, f, r (1) and Ri, r (2). Relationship between parameters of 1 group is defined by kinetic parameters of reactionof kaolinite dehydration: at different values r they vary in the natural image. The regression equation looks as follows:
ln (r) = 29.8887 – 21248.6 (R/Тm) +17.2323 (1 / (Тmr) – 3.48522ln (f)
Interpretation of physical sense of numerical factors of the regression equation is enough complicated, but the factor at its second member has unequivocal understanding. It is equal E/R, where E – effective energy of activation of reaction of dehydration, R – a gas constant. For fraction 10-5 microns value Е=42 kkal/mol that is peculiar well crystalized kaolinites.
Between parameters of 2 groups it was specified in interrelation to M.A.Plastinina (1979), et al. We receive the regression equation:
ln (Ri) =-0.691485 + 0.0335087 (r).
Coefficients of correlation and determination of this equation are accordingly equal 0.935 and 87.43%.
Thus, for the first time quantitative relationship of physical parameters (Тm0C, f, Ri) and parameter (r), characterizing size of particles kaolinite is shown.
